Puppy school
Well folks, just wanted to say how very proud I am of my little darling. Straight into the car this morning, minimum shakes, fell asleep and was an absolute star her first puppy school with my husband (he needs training too!) . She was so well behaved and did all her tasks well! Great positive experience for her today, definitely growing in confidence now.

Re: Puppy school
Fantastic.
Puppy school is a great tool for socialisation and I would highly recommend it to anybody who asks.

Re: Puppy school
Puppy school is well worth it ,especially for socialisation ,our dog club charges £5 per year membership then £1 per lesson .You must remember to carry on the training at home though or your puppy may just associate the place where he goes training as the place he has to do the things taught.
they don't always behave though ,my profile pic is of one of our pups at Crufts this year ,he was doing puppy foundation display and within 1 minute of entering the ring he decided he wanted to add to the display with a little wee

Re: Puppy school
i loved our puppy class as did woody - however as you always get at school there was1 class clown................yes you guessed it woody! he just played for laughs but even the trainers couldnt help but laugh.although to be fair he mustve still taken it all in as on the last night he believed beautifully and managed to pass with flying colours!

Re: Puppy school
hey guys,
thanks for all your comments, we're off for week 2 this morning, hope she is as well behaved today. She is so laid back at the moment, it's funny watching her watching other puppies misbehave

Re: Puppy school
Oh bless her, she was chosen by the trainer to demonstrate how to walk puppy on the lead and she did it perfectly.... what a star she is.

Congrats to your little angel.
Our Izzy was a bit of a star too "when the trainers were watching", but as soon as they turned their attention to another puppy she completely did the opposite of what we were meant to be doing and wanted to play with the "naughty boy" in our group, only to look like and angel again when she saw the trainer coming.
