I guess these shops are a good idea, maybe need to stretch to people on very low wages too though.

I don't think we have any round here, but I saw a report on community shops today and think it's a great idea. As well as saving a lot of needless waste, they should go a long way to helping people in straitened circumstances. The necessity of proving that you are on welfare benefits before you can shop there will put a lot of people off though.
