Eating Slowing down.
Hi All,
Ive been feeding Roxi raw since i got her and before that the breeder was also feeding her pet mince , ever since i got her she has been wolfing her mince down , but this last couple of days she has gone off it , she still eats her fish and egg and any raw chicken on the bone i give her but not nearly with as much gusto , dont get me wrong , she still crunches away merrily but where she would not stop eating till it had gone , she now goes back and eats it bit by bit ... Maybe introduce a bit more variety ? I dont think its a stomach upset because she is her normal bouncy self , ive been upping her walking time this last couple of days , could it be connected ?
I look forward to hearing your views , cheers :-)

Well i try not to feed mince much, so maybe she's a bit bored of that, how long have you been feeding raw, she might be ready for more variety as ideally she should get a good variety of meats in an established raw diet

She's been fed on raw all her life , i took the breeders advice and took up the mantle because i think its a great way to feed them , i was thinking maybe she was getting bored , maybe get some tripe and turkey necks , i can get red meat for dogs from the market , a large bag of different meats for a fiver .... I'll give it a go and she how she goes.
Thanks Ella

chicken
turkey
lamb
pork
fish
beef
goat
venison
duck
rabbit
goose
boar
and probably some others i've forgot.

Re: Eating Slowing down.
Tried Roxi with a Mackrel for tea tonight and she wolfed the whole thing down , she seemed to like the head especially :-)
