Training
Hi All,
I have quick question. Has anyone had professional training/class for your Staffie? If you had and what is your experience from those class? Zeus is almost 5 month old and he is good dog and we have no major issue. We have chat with lots of people at park and they recommend us to take class/training for Zeus but I don't feel necessary to do so. Only problem that we have is he loves play with other dogs at park he runs off and doesn't listing to us for trying to stop him. I think that's normal dog behaviour.
Is anyone has good advice to control your dog at park that could be lots of people and dogs around? We don't want to have lead all the time when we are at park but want him to stop when we ask him to stop. Is that because he is still puppy and will improve when he gets older?
Thanks,
KMDT

Re: Training
Personally I've not used classes but I know lots of members who have and had successful results :)as far as recall training goes, have you thought about using a long line? They're great for teaching recall and Zeus will still have freedom, I just leave Darcy's to trail along the floor but can still reign her in if needed.
