Thanks piglet, it was self induced alcoholic, drank before she got out of bed until she fell back in. She has bi polor, manic depression in old money, she would not take her meds so used drink to get the highs but alcohol is a depressive end of x

I can't have a car as I haven't got parking with my flat but I yearn for the freedom it gives you, if I wanted to do something I can hire or be insured on someone elses as I wouldn't need it every day living in the town centerSteve wrote:car cost a lot of money petrol goes up monthly

No, I suppose I should start reading, did an online one and 23 out 36, not horrendous but certainly needs improving!
Had 100's of lessons when I was younger but I really lack confidence in a car, now I am older it is about time

best way of learning yourself to drive i swear by it private land to build up your confidence before the roads
Re: your new year resolution
I think my first time was on a deserted road. About 10 min and onto the main roads. Never looked back. Love driving.Steve wrote:best way of learning yourself to drive :)i swear by it private land to build up your confidence before the roads

Re: your new year resolution
When I was 16 I had a lesson for a Christmas present which I took a week later in the ice and snow it was in a car park with a driving instructor but did all the basics, driving and reversing around cones, parking and for fun trying to skid on the ice to learn how to control itSteve wrote:best way of learning yourself to drive :)i swear by it private land to build up your confidence before the roads
Certainly gave me the confidence to be straight out on the road for lessons when I turned 17 and I passed my test about 10 weeks later
As for new year resolutions I don't set any as such but need a couple of targets for the new year fitness challenges etc
