Water
I was reading in the dog press today that people with dogs suffering from allergic reactions are turning to filtered water instead of tap water.
One woman was nearly tearing her hair out because every new treatment for her dog's allergies worked for a week or so, but then stopped working. She bought a water filter jug and because it was so big & she was on her own, she started to fill the dog's water bowl with filtered water instead of tap water.
The results were almost immediate & very marked!
I've no idea if it's true or not, but it might be an idea for anybody who has a dog that isn't responding to treatment?

Re: Water
If the water is highly treated in certain areas, it could be the cause of allergic reactions. I think its a good thing to try too if your dogs are having issues. Fluoride, heavy metals or other contaminants can definitely cause problems.

Re: Water
That is odd for me, we tried Rocky on the bottled water we drink and he wouldn't touch it, he prefered the tap water

Re: Water
Dempsey doesn't much like bottled water, but he will drink filtered water. There's a different taste!Kathy wrote:That is odd for me, we tried Rocky on the bottled water we drink and he wouldn't touch it, he prefered the tap water
