Re: Dog Food
my boys have swallowed lots of things whole over the years, never put me off don't forget dogs don't chew, their throats are basically bones chutes so they crunch it enough to fit down and that's it!

Re: Dog Food
no i feed once a day to my adult dogs, once they get to 9 or 10 months old i drop down to once a day.
It costs me roughly £10-15 a month to feed a 24kg and 48kg dog

Re: Dog Food
yes i use durham animal feeds for my bulk buys, but i made friends with butchers, hunters etc. So they save me alsorts, like whole rabbits, pigeons, whole chickens in feather etc etc

Re: Dog Food
i don't ever feed fruit or veg, dogs are carnivores so no need for them
I don't skin. pluck, gut or do anything, they eat animals whole like wild dogs would
DAF are relativity cheap, i use them to keep my freezers topped up, but getting freebies, and look around supermarkets for the price reductions to save money!
