I don't post very often but I'm so overjoyed with my boy today I just have to share. When out walking
earlier we came face to face with one dog Harry absolutely hates with a vengeance. Instead of
doing his usual lunging and growling Harry looked at me, I told him to sit (nearly fainted when he did)
let the other dog walk on without reacting at all and accepted praise and treats from me like it was the
most natural thing in the whole world.

The other dog owner, said "well done, you have put in a lot of hard work and what a difference".

Never thought it would happen, but it did and I can't put in to words how happy I am. Big Grin

Well done Harry and great stuff Lizzie. Just out of interest how did you get to this stage? Tommy is nervous DA on lead, he only has to hear another dog bark and he starts pulling and crying. If he sees another dog then his hackles are up. He won't even so much as look at me when I try and get him to sit. He won't take a treat, just ignores me. He's like this with motorbikes too. Driving me bloody crazy as I just can't get through to him.
Ps. He's just turned 12 months.
Any advise would be appreciated
