Eden v Fish4dogs
Jasmine has been on F4D since 8 weeks old. I have noticed lately her poos are a bit sloppy and she just doesn't seem to want to eat it anymore. She turns her nose up at it!
After a bit of research, seems it could be the pea flour content causing the less than firm poop, and to be honest, it doesn't seem that appetising, although her coat is super shiny. Yesterday eve, I gave her some RC to see how she liked it (had an unopened bag from the vets), soaked it as usual, and she absolutely wolfed it down like I have never seen!!!!!! This proves to me she really has never been that keen on F4D.
But I really don't want to feed her RC, so after some browsing have decided I like the look of Eden. Any thoughts?? They don't do a specific puppy food, but the protein content looks very good as do the other ingredients. Also, anyone else had this poo prob with F4D?

Re: Eden v Fish4dogs
Fish4dogs changed their recipe a short while ago, and several people reported that their dogs didn't really settle with the new ingredients, so it could be that.
I've never used Eden, but it is a good food. By all means try it if you think she'll like it!

Have had Bacchus on Eden for 10 months now. Excellent food and very economical to feed ( about 90p per day ) in spite of the initial ( quite ) expensive outlay. Having said that, I'm about to change to BARF. But no reflecton on Eden.

Moved post to Staffy Dog Food.
I have never fed Eden so cannot really comment on it, does it have a single protein source ?
