New year break!
We usually go away for a few days over new year ( always a doggy friendly cottage ) however the wee fella is a bit anxious in the car even on short journeys, the place we fancy going is a two hour drive away in Oban, any tips or should we leave it this year and get him more settled first?

Re: New year break!
goto your vet and they may give you some sleeping pills they gave me some for my sam when he was younger, dont give them to him just before you go in the care it they effect him hour / 2 hours before you get in a car

Adaptil spray for the car works great and thunder shirts are fab, they're expensive but worth it if they work, my friend just got her rescue boy one for the car and he's like a different pooch

Maybe try the. Thunder shirt, he's nowhere near as anxious as he was so. Hoping with time the stressing will go in all situations but the thunder shirt sounds like a good option until then. If he continues to get stressed out in the car tough we will speak to the vet.

Pets at home sell them kellie & I think if they don't do the job you can return them, my friend her boy was awful and on first wearing it he still panted a little at first but then settled and went to sleep, which was a first

Wow, they take it back if it doesn't work? Brilliant ! Yeah he pants something awful in the car, can't settle and whines, poor boy! There's a pets at home just down the road from me as well, feel like I live there! Just been today to get some nico proof chews, got antlers? Well he's chewing away and making no headway, may need to go into tried and tested lol!!
