It is scary going to a country when they don't speak much English, I'm nervous about going abroad in December as I don't know what to expect!
Australia is definitely far being a 24hr flight, but oh so worth seeing!

Europe to Australia without flying...

It's a long way to Oz, but there are two options to get there from the UK without flying:

Option 1: Europe to Australia by sea. You can go all the way from the UK to Australia or New Zealand by sea, a slow voyage by passenger-carrying freighter or occasional round-the-world cruise. Expect this to take 32-40 days and cost around £3,500+ one-way including cabin & meals.

Option 2, Europe to Australia via the Trans-Siberian Railway. You can travel by train from London to Moscow, the Trans-Siberian Railway to the Far East, and catch a passenger-carrying freighter (if you can find one!) from there to Australia. This is a real adventure, and quite a popular choice with lots to see on the way.

A short break is a nice getaway too, don't have to pack to much. Going on long holidays needs another holiday to recover after!

Travelling around the UK is great, hubby and me have done quite a bit of it, have been to the Lake District, Peak District, Wales and Scotland on honeymoon. We also treated ourselves to trip to Tenerife which was lovely too. Hubby had an accident while in Tenerife and needed hospital treatment which was a bit scarey but got through with my schoolgirl Spanish, thankfully.

We would love to go back to Scotland again and spend a bit more time in the Highlands (being photographers we spend quite a bit of time doing this) would also love to visit New Zealand though especially the Coramandel Penninsular, we have seen many images of it and would love to go there.

I'm going to the Bavarian Beer Garden on the weekend, the beer there is amazing but I'm designated driver.....I think I might call a taxi this time, the fun starts when the drunkenness kicks in!

New Zealand is beautiful, I love every minute of it. It is so peaceful and the places to visit are divine!

i get nervous very easy rolling on the floor

still not sure about flying with my luck i be on the wrong plane it end up crashing or getting blow up
