yeah years and years ago when i had to go to Manchester for work. my dad always used to harp on about driving lorries over it when they had no power steering

Yes, me and hubby went along it a couple of times when on camping holidays in the Peak District a few years ago. A bit hairy in the winter so I've heard and closed when theres snow. There is a pub along there with photos of a snow storm and how the people dug their way out
