private parts
I have just noticed a brown freckle-like spot on my year old's (Bane) testicle sack. It's not raised, or it's not bothering him, when I've examined it. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

Re: private parts
I've moved your post to health issues, that way it'll get more views if it's new I'd perhaps give your vet a call and ask for advice or perhaps keep an eye on it for changes

Re: private parts
It could just be pigment starting to show through, but if you're concerned then a trip to the vets might be best - when do you go to have his boosters done? You could ask then.
Perhaps if you can put a photo on here we might be able to help, though.

Re: private parts
I've tried to put the photo on here, but had no luck, so I have sent it in a message, on the Facebook page, so hopefully will show up.

Re: private parts
For photos, try these Kelly:-
1. https://staffy-bull-terrier.niceboard.com/t12017-how-to-post-a-photos-onto-the-forum
3. Keeping Staffy-bull-terrier- niceboard open, open a new tab and select photobucket from Google.
2. sign up to photobucket.
3. click on Upload.
4. click on Choose photos or videos.
5. you will get drop-down from your hard-drive, click on where you store your photos.
6. Select your photo and click on it. It will take a few seconds to upload (ignore the commercial that cuts in), but then you will see your selected photo - click on it.
7. Your photo will come up with a box on the right-hand side saying Links to share this photo.
8. click on the 4th option (IMG) - it will say "copied"
9. Go back to your first opened link on Internet Explorer which should still be the Staffy site and choose the topic you want to post in.
10. Click paste
4. 11. You'll see a long line of code, but don't worry, click Send
I'm a numpty with computer programs, but it worked for me!

Re: private parts
I've done the best I can with bringing it across it will be best if you can try to upload it straight to here, it may be clearer then

Re: private parts
It's hard to tell from the pic but I'd pop him the vet for a check best to be safe.

Re: private parts
It does look like a skin spot - pigment developing as he matures - but just to make sure, I'd have a word with the vet.

Re: private parts
Well done Hayley!
Well Kelly, I'd try not worry too much if I were you. Pups do tend to get these lumps and bumps sometimes and I've found they generally just disappear again (over a few weeks or months). My dog is dark too, and he developed a similar spot (like a mole on humans) on his belly and I showed it to the vet, and she just told me to keep an eye on it and bring him back if it got bigger. Which it didn't and has no been long gone.
I know what it is to worry though so do show it to the vet when you next visit - chances are it's just a blocked pore which will resolve itself (he's a growing lad!)
