Dog poo etiquette
Sorry about the heading, not sure how else to put it.
what do you all think is acceptable, is it
-Always pick up wherever it is
-generally pick up but with exceptions
I ask cos i generally pick up but dont if they have gone in the middle of a ploughed or stubble field, or in the woods in the middle of nowhere.
I thought this was ok but am now unsure, i thought i heard someone shouting at me today as Sam went in the middle of a stubble field and am now worried, cause could have been paranoia and just unrelated shouting.

Re: Dog poo etiquette
The only time I don't is if Daisys gone off the path in the woods (I'm not tramping through the undergrowth!) But anywhere else I do.

Re: Dog poo etiquette
We pick up no matter were we are, I've sent my son into the scrub to pick it up

Re: Dog poo etiquette
If it is anywhere that other people may walk it should be picked up, i don't pick it up if it is in a field though cause the rain is likely to wash it away.

Ledger has a knack of knotting his into the tangliest grass or bush I always get as much as I can up especially when it is visible from the footpath. There are a few stick and flick places where we walk too but again if on the odd occasion he does go close to the path then I pick up

Re: Dog poo etiquette
I do pretty much the same as you. all the woods around here are stick and flick so just got to make sure they do it off the paths.
its the phantom poo's i hate, i spent nearly 5 mins hunting down one of Laska's in the dark the other night. i knew she had def been but it took me ages to find it.

Re: Dog poo etiquette
I'll pick up anywhere I think somebody is likely to walk. In the middle of woods I wouldn't bother, but in a stubble field I probably would.

Re: Dog poo etiquette
I pick it up wherever Rod goes....and he does choose some odd spots!

Ah, Sam is a master at phantom poo's, you are looking at him, you know where he was, but when you get over there it has disappeared and then you find it miles away

I always clear it up where ever Rocky goes as I wouldn't want to step in it.
