I have lost about 5 whisties so far which use to hang round my next, a total cost of £40 so far, they kept coming undone. What I then did, was to tap her lead on the plastic, we have a flexi lead, Pixee always came back within reason. Just lately, with the dark nights now coming, and Pixee being Pixee, always got to hunt for rabbits, I do let her out of my sight now, and since I cant hear, I dont know if I am calling loud enough. I came across this in Pets at Home and thought, I would try this. I started off doing the click training at home, each time she looked at me, she got rewarded. I tested it on her in the fields while she was chasing birds or whatever, she came back each time Big Grin . I then started to test how far away she was till she couldnt hear it, so I know. She always did come back on the whistie, and so far she does on this whistie too. So yesterday when that horrible man was having ago at me, I was so thankful for that clicker. And the best thing about it is, I can keep it wrapped round my middle finger, and its there ready and waiting.......... Big Grin

Always great to have things that are recommended by other owners, I keep meaning to try one with Rocky but have never got around to it. I may just buy one of these next time I'm in PAH.

I had a go at clicker training with Dempsey but he really didn't respond to it. I don't know whether it was me or him, but I gave up.Blushing
