Hello Staffy Lovers

Hello, I have joined this website to get the best information and advice on Staffordshire Bull Terriers, better known as 'staffys'. I have not purchased one yet, but I would like to purchase one soon. First I would like to learn everything I need to know about Dogs and how to properly bring them up. I used to have a dog, it was a West Highland Terrier, unfortunately we bought it when it was approximately 2 Years Old and it turned out to be extremely vicious, after it attacked Family Friends and Neighbors we had no option but to give the Dog away with threats of the dog being put down.

I seek advice on this website, maybe I could be provided with a link to another website illustrating the Do's and Don'ts when bringing up a brand new dog. I would like to get my hands on a Staffy, from about 0-6 Months old, so the upbringing will be vital, I don't want the Staffy to turn out vicious, I don't want the Dog to attack anyone and I don't want to have to give away the Staffy.

So, if possible, can anyone here give my personal tips on how to bring up my dog so it won't Bark at a crisp packet blowing in the wind, so it won't dig up and destroy my garden, so it won't go to the toilet in the house and so it won't Tear off peoples faces.

Hi gary my advise to you is- try your nearest staffordshire bull terrier rescue group they will match up a dog suitable for you or more importantly your suitability to a dog
