Hi, newbie with new rescue staffie!

Hi all, it's taken a while but after losing my beautiful girl staffy girl tyra 4 months ago we have finally taken the plunge and brought home a very boisterous but smashing lad called nico, he's a year old and need a lot of training still. Is it just me or do we all forget how hard it can be when they are young? Looking forward to getting to know all of you and bending your ears for advice x

Yeah he's a handsome boy! Big pest just now, keeps jumping up and mouthing, think his past owners let him away with murder!

They are all stunners in their own wee ways xx yeah working on the training for the past week, from the advice on here actually but thinking about getting him into a behaviourist as well, the sooner he feels settled the better

Nico looks gorgeous and well done for going along the adoption route. There are far too many staffies in rescue centres. All the effort of training an adolescent is paid back a thousand times over when they mature. Good luck.
