I'm feeling a lot more confident now, I really thought it would be a battle of wills at first to get her to eat it (after the first bone drama!)
Sure it won't all be plain sailing but its a good start

Quick question, do dogs on RAW drink less water?

Re: Finally starting RAW! - Day 6
Brilliant, just go for it!
The people in the shop I went to were really laid back about all the ratio's much like Ella is, and said people often give up because they over complicate it for themselves!
I wondered about the water because I thought that Daisy hasn't drank or wee'd as much the last couple of days.

Yip, they get a lot of moisture from the meat. Where I used to be filling water bowels after a couple of hours I now just top up, really.Sazzle wrote:Quick question, do dogs on RAW drink less water?

Re: Finally starting RAW! - Day 6
Day 6 - one solid poo each day so all has gone well with chicken.
Daisy also had her first dried pizzle! Haven't managed to get her to eat the dried tripe though so I'm guessing there was actually no tripe in the sticks I used to buy her! Oh she's also had dried lung too! nom nom
Back to the shop tomorrow for next weeks meals
