Well I can't wait we are picking zena up in a few hour we getting her a bit early the womon isn't coping with feeding all pups so I thinks she's just off 6 week old iam like a kid at Xmas lol

When do you pick her up? Will you take her to vets for a check up as she's so young still?

I will follow this thread with interest, as your other dog is 8 months and I also am thinking of another doggie for Lola and myself of course. I may wait though till Lola is 18 months as I fear the puppy may pick up puppy habits that we are still dealing with.

Let me know how they both get on etc.

I would get a sucky blanket as the puppy is soo young.

Lola was very young when I had her, as her mum had rejected her. I wish I had waited longer because of the important learning they get from brothers and sisters and of course mum.

I will be following closely too.. we get our new puppy in a week or so. Been a long time since we had a pup in the house....hope I'm not too rusty.

I think your little girl is much better with you and blade than say a home who has no experience or another to learn from.
I think others just felt sorry for your little girl to be parted from her siblings at such a young age and they didnt mean to offend you.
Breeding is a touchy subject for most as they see loads of back yard breeding. For the life of me I cannot see why someone who has 3 small children and a full time job would want to let there dog have a litter of puppies they obviously have not done any research.
I know everyone has a opinion but for me most breeders out there have done it for the money and nothing else. Smile

Its not your fault scott in the slightest lol its a good job u were around to take little zena in. We all (and im sure i can speak for most people) would be more than happy to help with any questions u may have. I had Ty who was about 10 months ish when i rescued Kaos privatley at 11 weeks and that was hard enough lol x

what the womon told me that it wasnt planned the male was only a week away from having his bits off. iam just scared iam doing something wrong, shes strong she eats milk and wheaterbix in the morning and she has solids after that she whoofs it down. in her cage theres 2 blankets a water bottle and a teddy bear. she gets up every 2 hours for a drink and wants a cuddle with us. ive been told she needs worming but i dont no what tablet to get because shes young. she bullys blade already its funny. oh i manage to photoshop a new avatar

She should be on at least 4 feeds a day maybe with puppy milk? I would definatley reccommend a vet check as shes so little and he will be able to advice u on the worming. x

im sure if you goto the vets they can give her a jab for that.. becouse she will have to be waigd to get the right dosage....

i might be wrong but im prity sure it works like that..

when mine were pups at i used panacure... as my vet said that was thing to use..

Ive never had a litter of puppies myself (but have used my dog for stud) so im not good with little babies.
I would feed little and often and i remember mine would have scrambled egg for breakfast
Worming is very important and im sure if you went to the pet shop they would tell you what you need drontal is good .
