Gave lola chicken today as im starting her on raw food. I was waiting till we used all of her kibble which was last night. The problem was is i dont get paid till 2mara so havent got anything for her yer. I found chicken fillets in the freezer and left them defrost. She has them today and got sick about 5mins later. I noticed that they wer pretty much unchewed, is that why she got sick????

when starting a raw diet it's very normal for dogs to throw up undigested food, including chunks of bone.

But yes it sounds like she didn't chew it up enough for it to settle in her stomach hence throwing up.

Try and encourage her to re eat it, it seems gross to us but VERY normal for a dog to re eat it

If she tends to swallow her food unchewed, try holding on to one end & making her work for it! Or you can give it to her frozen.
