So i was walking lexy last night andbi noticed she was limping a little so i checked her paws for stones as the pavements in the street are being relaid but nothing although she walked a gd 45 mins for me anyway. She was fine running around garden for a few hours with diesel playing etc until i noticed her limping on our walkies. When we got home i rubbed the muscles etc on her front legs to find anything unordinary or if if she wud find it discomforting but nothing. Cud she have just knocked her leg and i didnt notice??

Was it her front or back leg Daryl?

If it was her front she may have just pulled/knocked or got something in her paw.

If it was her back leg it could be either of the above also, but keep an eye on her as my boy has had cruciate ligament surgery in both his back legs over the last 15 months and each leg started with an intermittent limp which got progressively worse Sad

Well the second leg didn't as I knew what to expect and got him straight down the vets as soon as I saw the signs.

Fingers crossed she is ok now Smile

Hi our dog was limping quite a lot when he first got out of bed usually after he had been out with his balls the evening before. We just kept him on the lead for a few days and no ball games or chasing for a while. He`s now fully recovered and running about like a mad man again. So prob just strained a muscle or something. Try keeping her on the lead for a few days see how she goes.

Bully breeds very often hurt muscles, ligaments or tendons. It's usually nothing serious and is mostly caused by their insistence that they have to run around like a bull in a china shop! Tongues
