Muzzle Empty Muzzle

Post by Pam2509 Mon Oct 07 2013, 10:43

Hi, can anyone recommend the best type of muzzle to use? I have seen the hard plastic ones and also cloth type ones, each have good and bad reviews, does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks

What will you be using it for?

I'd personally never use a cloth one as the dog can't pant or drink whilst wearing them. The Baskerville type is probably the best.

Thanks a lot for this. He is nervous aggressive when walking so it's definitely best to get him used to one as passing other dogs on narrow paths down the farms near me can be a bit difficult. Thanks for your help everyone.

I have a baskerville ultra for both my boys (harveys is for emergencies)

So Harvey is a 2 year old staff and has a size 4

Chance is an ambull and has size 6 which is the largest size

Thanks to Ella for the muzzle training advice, I wouldn't have a clue as we have never tried one.

I use a Baskerville ultra with Lola, I think she was a 3 but she has a small girls head biggrin. There is also a video on You tube by the manufacturers on how to use it correctly.
