My dogs holds her wee for hours?

Hi everyone

Xena is approx 15 months old, eats a drinks plenty and poops for britain! but when it comes to her having a wee she just holds it and holds it?
she has 2/3 a day but sometimes it will be 10+ hours between them?
she has been vets recently and has been cleared and is all healthy?
it doesnt hurt her when she goes as far as i can tell?
i just wondered if other dogs are like this or whether i should investigate this further?

not something I've heard of tbh , mine tend to go at the first opportunity , Tommy will pee on anything that is vertical and Tilly is a little more fussy and will only do it on grass unless she is desperate but both hold well when they need to and have good bladder control.
Only thought that comes to mind is has she been trained into this , left for long periods etc so she is used to holding her bladder ??

Most dogs are able to hold their pee for around 8 hours at a time, so I wouldn't worry, to be honest!

My Staff Stella has a bladder like a steel trap lol especially handy when its raining as there is no way she is going out x

Certainly a Staffy trait… My old dog could all day no problem… The 2 Ive got now could do 24 hours    without a pee in heavy rain, I have to pick them up & get the door shut behind me & stand out in the rain too before they will go.
I believe my dogs hold the world record for the quickest pee & poo & able to curl back up on the sofa before I can shut the back door when its raining

Vinnie can hold his for hours, when he got scared of the fireworks he would not go out to wee so went to bed with me expecting a puddle in the morning but no, he must have gone at least 14 hours!   

Moo is the same, she was dropped off at 4 and if the rain carries on she won't go out again until morning at 7 Xx
