Glad to see this. Payday loans are awful i think and the % they charge is scandalous.

i would go without food they take out an loan with any pay day loan

yea i thought it was a joke at first i think it was church of england but it could be the other one

yes it was the church of england but i believe there rates are no were near the other company's.
i would never use one but there supposed to to be thousands that say if used proper there not so bad ie you know you need to pay back at agree time or you will get hammered in charges

all the owners of these companies should be burned at the stake for exploiting the poor

Yep because that is exactly what they do, it's disgusting  

Unfortunately my stupid stupid son applied to a couple of these companies earlier this year (unbeknownst to me at the time - not that I could have stopped him because he always knows best - pfft)

He never got a penny from them, but immediately they slammed in "repayments" - varying amounts and sometimes minutes apart. They only stopped when his money ran out. He was robbed of about £400 but when he tried to contact them they were uncontactable. Phone numbers not recognised, emails bounced or unanswered.

and these were companies easily (too easily) found on the net and I believe even advertised on TV. They are nothing short of crooks.

because he'd given them his credit card account number to pay into, Dave. So as soon as he got some money into it, they robbed it. As "repayments" Huh.
