What is the stupidest thing anybody has ever said to you?

One of the girls I used to talk to came out with the daftest things sometimes! I was giggling to myself about some of them and I thought I'd share.

One of my favourites was the long debate I had with her regarding the use of sheep's wool in clothing. I'd told her that I refuse to wear animal fur if the animal has been killed or harmed to acquire it. She then accused me of lying, as I'd worn something with wool in it before. It took about half an hour of talking and even a Google search to convince her that you don't need to kill a sheep to get its wool!

There was also the time I was talking to a friend about Alice Cooper. The girl in question then scoffed and said, "Eurgh, she's crap! Why do you listen to her?"

This is the same girl who told me I was being stupid when I said that the film Titanic was based on a real event. She couldn't quite figure out how the film could have been made if all of those people died!

I've had my own fair share of stupid though. When talking to two lads about alcohol, one of them mentioned that he likes Jack Daniels. Stupid me didn't realise that he was talking about the alcohol brand and replied, "Who's Jack Daniels?"

So. What stupid things have you said/had people say to you?

I can only think of one and its not really stupid but funny.
Me at a local carnival maybe when I was about 30. I decided to have a go on the coconut shy,so paid my money and received my balls. Anyway as I was about to throw the first one the lady said.............
"Its ok my love you can stand in front of the rope!" I swear she thought I was about 12 years old!!! Bloody cheek!

Hubby and me had just got out of the car in a car park, we had rightly parked in a disabled bay as my hubby is disabled and has a blue badge. We were just walking away from the car when a man approached us and said that hubby didn't look disabled   and then continued to accuse hubby of not deserving to be disabled   Thick or what

Use to work with a girl who always came out with stupid stuff. She once asked what condescending meant and if it was like condensation?! She also didn't believe that Eskimos were real !
