What is good socializing?
Hi this is our daily schedule (Pebbles is 13 weeks old) would you say this is appropriate for her age in terms of exercise and socialization?
I take Pebbles out to the park every morning for about 30 minutes on and off the lead and she has the opportunity to meet, sniff, bounce around with other dogs and generally make a nuisance of herself with their owners by rolling madly on the ground and wanting her belly tickled.
I'd say on average we meet on average at least 3 to 5 or sometimes more dogs each morning.
Then hubby takes her in the late afternoon for a 20 mins walk on the lead around the neighbouring streets. Again she meets people/children and occasionally the odd dog out on their walkie.
She has daily car rides (to the park), and we have had a few visitors dropping in for a cuppa at the house.
Is this enough ?
I am always worrying that if she isn't socialized enough at this age that she may turn out fearful or aggressive later.
Thanks

Re: What is good socializing?
I think you're doing incredibly well!
As long as she gets positive socialisation (ie dogs & humans that are friendly) then you're definitely on track!
Take care until she's about a year old, though, that she doesn't get spooked - all pups have fear stages & during those short periods a bad experience can affect them adversely!
