You're not thick, if you don't know you don't know Big Grin

To start with put something really tasty in it to get him interested. I would suggest peanut butter and a few kibble biscuits if they fit, remember they have to come back out. Eventually you can put anything in it, dog food, mince meat, banana etrc..

Yes peanut butter and treats, I usually layer it. You can also freeze once filled as it will take longer for kim to destroy it! Laughing

only way to learn is to read or ask so don't be shy , without members like yourselves we would just have to chat to each other all day , we all have to start somewhere. If I recall from your other posts you are first time dog owner , first time staffy owner and first time puppy owner so you have loads to learn , when I started it was just the specifics of the breed.

It's why the forum was set up in the first place to help so keep asking Smile

I think puppy classes are a good idea for socialising your dog.
It defo helped with Vinnie, as with the meet today I wouldn't worry too much she is still very young and pups tend to do that, and after all they are like us we don't like everybody so maybe she just wasn't keen.
Best to keep on lead though at all times when meeting.
As you progress a long training lead is fab for letting her have a run and play but you still have control. Big Grin

I also use cooked sweet potato, but mix a tablespoon of peanut butter through it. Which reminds me, I finished it last night so off to the supermarket.
