Sleep deprivation!
Does anyone else suffer? I'm managing about 2/3 hours a night lately. Dad & big bro both are insomniacs so may have a bit of that but I spend so much time trying to get comfy that by the time I get comfy it's time to get up

Re: Sleep deprivation!
I had a really bad period of not sleeping for about 2 years, I'm usually OK now but I have really stick to a routine, no caffine in the evenings, go to bed and get up at similar times every day, if it differs too much it upsets my pattern. When I get in bed I have to really make myself switch off and keep my mind clear or it runs riot otherwise!! I have some mindfulness and relaxation exercises that I use sometimes!
Mint tea or camomile definitely helps before bed, holland and barratt do a bedtime tea!
I notice melatonin is mentioned above, I've not tried it but I got some for Daisy last year as recommended by the vet and it does say it can be used as a sleep aid. I bought tablets off Ebay.

Re: Sleep deprivation!
Melatonin is great, and natural. When I used to instruct gym it would mean training into the evening and then being too hyped up to sleep. It relaxes the body and mind for a really peaceful sleep.

Re: Sleep deprivation!
No I think I'd die without sleep, I have always been one to need alot of sleep to function properly, otherwise I'm a nasty cowbag. I also sleep better during the day as my body clock has always been broke
