Why do people even own Staffs?

If you cant even treat it properly?

Went to the dog park today 2 couples and their kids came along with their staffys (about 3 kids 2 lil ones) including a baby in a pram and about 4 dogs in total. They instantly remove their dogs leads and let em run free. They didnt even care that there were smaller puppies around. Next thing I see the parents start pulling out cigarettes and while their dogs are doing a poop they just sit around and laugh. Thats not even the worst part they are smoking around the baby in the pram and their little toddler who must be around 5-6 years old. It gets better though then they start swearing casually since I guess its just how they talk to each other but around kids? Do you even manners? Surely its none of anyones business what you do around your kids but hey who are we to judge huh.
After they start getting settled they pull out Mc Donalds. My puppy ran straight for it and they start hand feeding him chips so I had to grab him away. 2 couples and their kids start munching down on burgers and chips in the dog park? What. They didnt even clean up their rubbish there was drink cups laying shredded on the ground cause their dogs chewed it all up.

After all this one of their english staffys came around to a dane puppy this woman had brang in. Out of nowhere the staffy barks at the pup (just a normal bark) and about 10 seconds later the owner came and grabbed this poor dog by the neck and smacked it in front of us then drags it 20 metres down to a fence and ties it up then smacks it again in the head while saying No. The dog was cowering and didnt know what was goin on.

Every single one of their dogs had giant studded spiked collars which made their dogs look stupid as fk and completely unnecessary.
Worst day ive experienced in a park and put me off goin there everyday.

Unfortunately the dogs attract these kind of people and that is a massive part of the problem , as you state the way they dress their dogs tends to point towards status dog and the attitude towards others and their families , dogs etc do us no favours at all . All you can do is keep with your own attitudes and show everybody that this is a minority

My cousin swears like a demon in front of her child then smacks her if she swears. Im totally ashamed t be seen with her in public tbh
