Table leg protectors!
Hi,
I've just got two 8 week old pups who are chewing everything and anything they can get their mouths round! Their favourite toy at the min seems to be the table legs....
Ive looked on the internet for some table leg protectors and they only seem to be sold in america, does any one know if you can get them in the uk? The ones I saw came quite high up and were rubber. Obviously I'm not encouraging them to chew but it's impossible to watch them 24/7!
Cheers for any replies!

Re: Table leg protectors!
I haven't actually heard of them but what a good idea! Have you thought of crate training them when you can't keep an eye out, also there are many things you can use as a deterant, I know vinigar has been mentioned before along with a lot of others, someone will suggest some more I'm sure

I've got some bitter apple spray but I wasn't sure whether it would be ok to use as they are so young.
I tried it out with my father-in-law's staffy and she loved it haha

Re: Table leg protectors!
You can certainly use it with pups, it isn't toxic at all. I haven't seen table leg protectors here in the UK, I've always just made sure I correct them when they chew things.
Oh, and I also use(d) a crate.

Re: Table leg protectors!
mine liked the bitter spray and most others things - ive done the vinegar, he hates it but the smell is vile. another more pleasant on the nostrils that he hates is vicks vapour rub.
im struggling with fence panels at the moment and dont have enough vinegar/vapour rub to use that method - any ideas?

Thank you for your replies, I will try the bitter apple spray with them and see how they get on! I may have to go on Dragons Den with a prototype of my idea of a table leg protector ha ha keep an eye out!
