Going for a stay at the vets
A week after hurting something playing boomer ball last week, Chiquito's front leg is still sore/stiff. Was due to go in and pick up more anti-inflammatory tablets today, however as the stiffness/limping got quite bad last night, he is instead off for a stay at the vet tomorrow to have tests done to see if they can work out what the problem is
They have said that they will take him walking, do some further exploration as well as observe him after sleep before they decide on which tests to do, but they did say no breakfast so that they can sedate him as they need to

Oh no! If they decide to x-ray then he can't have breakfast. Fingers crossed but it won't be anything so bad that you can't work through it. In our thoughts my lovely Xx

Thanks all x
Will let you know how he gets on tomorrow .. for now giving him lots of extra snuggles - mainly to make me feel better, but he seems happy enough about it regardless.

Re: Going for a stay at the vets
Thanks for your thoughts everyone x
They believe that the problem is a particularly sore toe ... which I don't know whether to laugh or cry about (not that I am questioning them or their thoroughness, it is so hard to believe a toe could be to blame for the level of lameness he has!!).
Chiquito is home on fully confined rest and metacam for a week, then he is going back in for another check up.
The boomer ball has been put in the naughty corner until further notice.
