Cant suggest much as Vinnie hates wearing a coat, but Hayleys suggestion looks great. Pics please when you have found one

Re: want to buy my baby a coat.
Chiquito has an Australian brand coat, however I have found that anything with a nice wide belly strap that is also adjustable around the neck has been a really good/comfortable fit for him.
Looking forward to seeing Sapphy modelling the one you choose

I'm getting some dog boots for protection when running of sharp surfaces while bikejoring later this year. this place does a good lineup of stuff at reasonable prices http://www.snowpawstore.com/
looks like someone has already brought a set for a Staff in the reviews section with a good review

I would definitely recommend the Danish Design coat, I had one for Zeus when he was smaller and a larger one now. Brilliant quality and it's a two piece.Darcy-may wrote:No idea about boots darcy would eat them :lol:but she has a few coats from a few different places but I like this one the best.

Also use the Danish Design coat for Biscuit and it's perfect! Have got her a few prettier ones from Pets at Home as well though for days out

Re: want to buy my baby a coat.
No idea about boots but Daisy has several coats
I really like the outhwaite ones, they're not that deep down the sides but give plenty of freedom for movement while still keeping the rain off. She had one padded and one not padded.

She also had an ancol and a danish design one!

Re: want to buy my baby a coat.
Knox has a thin waterproof one for the summer if it rains, he has a heavier duty one for the winter that's waterproof too but I bought him a hoody off a lady that makes them to measure off ebay. Can't remember her name but I normally put in dog staffy hoody and it comes up lol He loves it too oh and he also has a rudolf the reindeer one with antlers for Christmas

Re: want to buy my baby a coat.
been wondering about getting Lady a coat for a while ..
have no prev. experience of short-hair dogs 'n colder climates
looked at various types online ..
bought her 3 Peaks Grey Technical Dog Coat yesterday
figuring the 'thinsulate' lining would keep her warm even when damp
was pleased to see it has a slit for a harness lead-ring ..
so she can wear her harness underneath the coat ..
let her off the lead in some long grass 'n let her run about ..
she seemed happy with it .. :-)
keeps her warm in the back of my small van as well ..
as any heating ( or a.c. ) in the back comes from the driver/passenger section
( checked with a thermometer .. be only a 2C difference either way )
