Henry the hellraiser Getatt24

I love my little dog but he just has so much energy that we don't know what to do with ourselves. We play outside with him fetch etc. We play inside and it never seems enough as soon as we don't play with him he bites, chews things he shouldn't. What can I do?

I always give my pup a stern NO whenever it gets way to boisterous and he can sense that I want to stop playing with him and just calms a bit. Not sure if that would help but worked for me, granted I do it on a daily basis lol.

f your profile is up to date and Henry is only 11 weeks, his still very much a baby, everything is new to him, patience & resistance is the key, have a read through this link it should help. http://staffy-bull-terrier.com/stop_your_staffy_puppy_biting Believe me I know it's hard but it does get easier & he will learn Smile

Staffys do have a lot of energy, I found the yelping helped a lot when Rocky got too carried away as well as ignoring him for a bit when enough is enough, the link Hayley provided is fab!

echo the above, as maria said a loud yelp when hes being too rough defo does help and a NO when hes misbehaving it may seem like its taking forever but in the long run, totally worth it Smile best of luck!

A high pitched yelp and turning away as everyone has mentioned.
Persistence is the key and he still is very young, you will see some improvement. Also when it is possible for a couple of little walks that will also help with his energy levels.Smile
