The weather on Friday

Is spoiling my plans  It's Daisy's first gotcha day and the weather forecast is terrible, heavy rain all day  

Daisy hates the rain, I have to practically drag her along!! She walks behind me, won't sniff at anything, it's a struggle to even get her to do her business!! Have to be really quick getting out of the door as we set off because as soon as she realizes it's raining she tries to duck back in, then I do literally have to drag her out the door!!

Really hope it changes I wanted to take her out for a lovely long walk and set her agility kit (one of her presents) up in the garden  

She sounds just like Molly in the rain unless... I have her ball and then she seems to forget the rain!

Can't even get Daisy out with a ball, it's like it burns her skin  

Molly actually slipped her collar and ran back inside the house once when it was pouring down! (we were only at the end of the drive...harness/tighter colar from then on)

Its the complete opposite of our spaniels attitude, he loves the rain and runs and runs!

Awww it's a shame Molly doesn't learn from him!!

Hope the weather changes saz, Darcy hates the rain too

The Tedster doesn't like rain either.

It's a devil of a game when he really wants a walk and I have to try and persuade him that the weather is not any different out the front of the house than it is out of the back door.

Light drizzle is OK but I tried to take him out once in proper rain because he really needed to go out and do his business. We made it to the first patch of grass up the lane and he went under a tree to have a wee and then made it very clear we were going home by dragging me back down the lane. Proves he knows where he lives I supose.

Really hope so, doesn't even need to be sunshine, just dry!!

Is there anything you could do for her indoors, have you done a cake ??

No I haven't done a cake but she's having ham and eggs for Brekkie and steak strips for tea! I will put the agility stuff up in the house if I have to!! She's got loads of pressies to rip open too
