Ears again!
Vinnie has had some real stinky blackish wax in his one ear. Also has scratched behind his ear and its very scaly and bald also lumpy. I have been putting Canaural ear drops in prescribed by the vet. And although its better its the loss of hair and dryness behind the ear which is worrying me.
He tends to rub his the side of his face in foxes poo an awful lot though I do stop him if I can. Does anyone think he could have mange of some sorts? Any advice would be appreciated, Thanks.

Re: Ears again!
The hair loss is probably just from him stratching when he had the infection, and if he's made it sore/dry he will be continuing top scratch. Daisy does this when her ear flair up, I put a bit of sudo cream on them, you could try that

Re: Ears again!
Thanks Saz, I will try that I thought I had some here but will have to get some more. Its so dry I feel I want to rub some olive oil on there to give it some lubricant!

Re: Ears again!
That's exactly what Daisy's have been like when her ear infections have been bad, I've found the sudo cream really worked

Re: Ears again!
I would say that he is gettign poo in the ear and infections from that. I would be tempted to keep him on a lead for a while until it all clears up so he cant roll in poo anymore, foxes have lots of disases and infections usually
