laskas new friend

Met a new couple in park last night with an adorable dog but had no idea what it was. Turns out they have just moved here and we did the pleasantries while the dogs weighed each other up. Told them we were in the park at that time each night if they fancied tagging along.
Well they turned up tonight and laska has a new found friend in rosy there dog. She is an adorable girl that plays bully style and laska and her got on like a house on fire. The walk took about 30 mins longer that normal due to the girls playing together.  I asked what she was as she was quite muscular and they said she is a puggle. A pug cross beagle. She was born one day before laska so same age group and they love playing rough with each other and the owners didnt mind at all that they were hanging off each other.
Im chuffed to bits as most dogs we meet are male or older females so its great for the girls to get together and play like nutters with no testosterone involved. Ive never seen laska so excited and playful and we had to drag them apart at the end of the walk. She is now shattered on the bed sending up some serious Z's bless her.
Hopefully they will be back again tomorrow night as I love seeing my girl that happy

I do like beagles, they're very cute. There were loads at Chatsworth yesterday, pugs I'm not so sure! Be interesting to see what the mix looks like!

Aww she is a sweetie, Laska will certainly have great fun. Vinnies best mate is a beagle and my gosh she gives him the runaround! You will have a very worn out pooch indeed.

Laska laska laska. Well puggles aren't pretty, but any dog that plays bully style is ok with me.

Best way ever to tire them out. We meet a young mum every morning with her Boxer, Buster. Buster is the same age as Bacchus and weighs 35 kilos and the two of them rough and tumble the whole way round the meadow. Also great exercise.
Glad Laska has found a friend who can keep up with her.

What a lovely couple of girls!  

Really pleased to have found such a good play mate for Laska, they are so important.
