newbie saying hi !!

hi everyone, just signed up to the site which is most impressive btw. I've got a 7 yrs 6 mths female who 5 weeks ago had spinal surgery for a slipped disc. Now before anyone goes "oh no how teribble", let me add that she's doing really really well and vet says I'll be able to let her go for a swim (15-20 mins a time) within next few weeks. .  I must admit at one point I thought I was going to lose her BUT she's a fighter not in the bad way and the vet is so happy with her speedy recovery from such major surgery. Just thought it would be good to share with other Staffy lovers.
