Normally we get a period every evening ( usually when there is something good on the box ) when we get presented with balls, kongs, slippers etc. for a bit of play time. Not last night. The reason................

Every school day at around 6.30 am. we meet a young mum with her 16 mth old Boxer, Buster and we walk round the The Meadows putting the world to rights. Yesterday was no exception and as usual he and Bacchus went through their mad game of chase and wrestling. And I mean mad!! If we don't watch our backs we are in danger of being hit by 50 kilos of dogs as they charge about, not looking where they are going. It's a fantastic work-out for both of them.
Result, two tired dogs.

Lunch time walk we didn't meet any friends but had a great session alternating between his flirt pole and throw toy.
Result, one tired dog.

Late afternoon/early evening walk we met Luca, the black Lab, and his mum. Luca is another of his regular exercise friends but with Luca it's all about the two of them racing to be first to reach throw toys, balls etc.
Result, after a 30 min. session we had two very tired and panting dogs.

That was it. Evening meal then peace perfect peace with lots of cuddles on the sofa ( Bacchus obviously, not the wife ) until his late night leisurely toilet walk.

Sounds a great day and fab exercise for Bacchus.
It is worth it for a tired and contented dog. You must have been worn out too. Smile

That's a pretty typical day for us, give or take a few friends. We nearly always bump into someone but Buster and Luca are the two who can match him for boisterous rough play and mutual tiring out.

Laughing  Poor wife!

Sounds like Bacchus has loads of fun with his friends! Good to have a worn out, tired boy!
