Rain again

First real rain we've had since the end of May and I wondered if Bacchus would remember his routine when we got home.
I'd laid his big towel on the floor ready for our return and sure enough he went straight on to it, presented his right foot for drying, then his left, then on command presented his left rear to have that one dried, then again on command " the other one " presented his right rear followed by a general rub-down which he enjoys.

Never ever had a dog do this before.

With Dempsey, it's just waiting until he comes into the kitchen so that he can be caught by surprise, dump the towel over him so that he can't escape, and rub him down.

Your so lucky to have Bacchus, with my two its like a wrestling match. and when i do manage to get them dried off they run about the house in some kind of euphoric state

What a star Bacchus is! Rocky tries to bite the towel whenever I do this. So it's a hassle just trying to get it out of his mouth let alone dry him down

Wow, sounds like Bacchus is in really good form, but then of course Daddy taught him all his knows  

We have a towel at the back door for when darcy comes in out of the rain, she sits straight on it and wait for her feets and body to be dried

I just attack the boys with a towel as soon as they walk in!

cool I normally start with Tilly , then issue the command "Tommy you little sh1t , get back here or mum will kill me"
