My new 8 week old staffy will not keave my other 1 yr old staffy alone. He keeps running and biting at her at her teats her neck and legs etc etc. Is this nirnal behaviour??

I would say your 8 week old pup is just trying to have a bit of fun! THey are very playful especially at that young age, i would suggest monitoring the play and if your pup does get a bit carried away stop the play for a few minutes and then let them back again. It is normal behaviour completely

Yes it's all normal, as Maria says monitor all play, things will be fine and I'm sure your lexy will tell diesel off if he goes to far

How does the older one react to this , that's the key . Pup just sounds like normal rough staffy play
Just make sure they are both content with this behaviour . It will always be a little more difficult with the relatively small age gap between them , would normally recommend between 18-24 months so the older dog is more mature and settled , you essentially have 2 puppies on your hands

Thanks guys and dave it seems like lexy sometimes just wants to be left alone to have a break. However it did look to be gettin a littke outta hand yesterday as pup eas full on growling

When she does this and it looks like Lexy has had enough I would separate them for a while, do something else with diesel (ie. some basic training or a garden trip) or pop him in another room for a couple of minutes.
