Bluebell looks smart, alert, healthy, a good shape. A happy dog. My Douglas also came from the rescue (SSPCA). They say not to take a dog because you feel sorry for them. That's true - you have to be ruled by your head not your heart and to recognise the commitment. However, if you take a dog that has fallen on hard times and has become rejected or unwanted for whatever sad reason, then the joy in seeing that dog blossom may be even greater than the pleasure of seeing the development of a dog that you paid X hundreds of pounds for. Not that there is anything wrong with the latter! - just that helping out a dog that is down on its luck can give your happiness an extra edge.

Most definitely, shes a cracking dog! i just cant understand why anyone wouldn't have wanted her!

She even persuaded my older sister to get a rescue staff of her own... she rescued 'Blossom', who had been in the shelter for over a year! poor thing..completely deaf and an absolute handful...but so rewarding to see her now having such a fulfilling life! She knows sign language and everything!!
