Name: Rocky
Age: 2 ½ years
Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Can I live with Children: Yes
Can I live with cats: Yes
Can I live with other dogs:Yes, female only
Fostered In:South Wales
Other Information
Gorgeous Rocky is looking for a loving family home to take care of him for the rest of his life. Beautifully trained, gentle and loving, Rocky is an absolute gentleman.
Rocky has been brought up with children and is currently in foster with five children aged from six to seventeen years who he adores. Kind and gentle, Rocky is the perfect family boy.
Rocky has the sweetest of natures. He even loves cats and will give them a little lick to say hello. Rocky particularly likes men and will happily follow his foster Dad around the house with the waggiest of tails.
Rocky enjoys the company of other dogs but can be a little cautious around more dominant males so Rocky will only be homed as an only dog or with female dogs.
Rocky loves to have a chat and will make the silliest noises when you talk to him, he even makes silly noises when he sleeps, there is nothing quite like the sound of sweet staffy snores and snorts whilst he dreams of chasing balls and being rubbed on the tummy.
Rocky can be a bit of a scaredy boy. He doesn’t like loud noises, fireworks terrify him as does thunder and lightning. Poor Rocky is even frightened of the hoover! The poor boy becomes so anxious he will chew at his little tail so his adopters will need to be patient and understanding and help him feel a bit less afraid of the scary world.
Rocky doesn’t like to be left alone, he can become anxious and hurt his own tail with the worry so we would ask that his adopter be at home most of the time. Rocky is currently crated when his foster family has to leave him at home, he can whine at first but soon settles down.
Rocky is house trained, walks well on the lead, travels nicely and has excellent all round doggy manners.
Rocky is vaccinated and microchipped. Prospective adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in South Wales.

I'm so tempted by this little chap. He'd be a perfect addition in our house.
I may be putting in an application once my 11 month old bitch has fully recovered from her knee surgery.
