Is Saxon too Big?
Saxon is 6 month old, 15in (38cm) tall and 30 lbs (14kg). I've had tell me that he is way too big to be a Staffy. His feet aren't very big, so I don't think he'll get much bigger, other then to fill out a bit. I feel like he's a Staffy, he might just be a touch bigger then the standard. What do you all think?

Personally I think he is developing nicely but I haven't a clue on standards. At 6 months he still has a lot of developing left to go though. Don't listen to others, he looks Staffie to me

Re: Is Saxon too Big?
Hi Saxon may grow a bit taller than the standard but he is more stafford than anything else the size of his feet dont really mean much idealy they should be small tight(dont splay out when standing on them).
My boy grew to his height at 8-9 months and didnt grow any taller they all vary slightly he is what he is

Thanks everyone! He's wonderful no matter what he is, but it's good to hear that you all think he's a Staffy! Here's a better picture of how he normally stands:

Re: Is Saxon too Big?
He's all stafford! He may end up a little outside the breed standard, but I doubt it'll be much.
Personally, I prefer a slightly taller staff than seems to be the norm nowadays.

Re: Is Saxon too Big?
Bruiser is 6 months 2 weeks and he is bigger than saxon by lookin at those pics....taller i mean! people are constatley telling me he is not a full staff when im walking him and to be honest im past caring what people think! Brusiers mum was a very short stocky staffy, but the stud dog (who i still see) is tall for a staff.
i wouldnt worry about it......hes looks beautiful

That's not a fair statement...
People who do think he's a staffy are also jealous... at least I am.

Re: Is Saxon too Big?
I think he looks just fine, he's one of my two loves on this forum, the other being Dempsey, but then I love all the dogs on here, but Saxon is fine for sure
Just to add Lola is 2st 7lbs and she is 6 months old. But her mom and dad were huge and very leggy.
