Homing Requirements: Chase needs a sensitive and understanding family opening their heart and hearth to offer Chase, an older boy, security and stability. Chase needs reassurance and kindness and would be ideal for an understanding but caring first time dog owners. Not for busy young children as he could be concerned.

His Story: Chase was found stray and unclaimed. He waited many months for a rescue place but we were delighted to be able to help Chase and are looking for his family. Chase is in good health. Chase is neutered, chipped and fully vax'd. Currently in boarding kennels near Godstone, Surrey.

Advert: Chase is a stable, kind, mature dog with a placid energy when relaxed. He gets excited meeting dogs but soon loses interest and his focus goes through into his walk. He is a lovely dog who surrenders to strokes. Walks connected into his handler and really is a joy.

Chase has an orange brindle coat with amber eyes to match. Chase is around 8 years old, has a small frame and is a non-muscular Staffie X. He has smiling eyes once he recognises your sincere sentiment towards him. He has a deficit in vision not cataract but blurred, so he takes longer to trust encounters in strange situations but given a reassuring stroke, he relaxes and loves.

Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.

Hi there

If you are seriously interested in him, why not complete a homing questionnaire and one of our rehomers will then be able to answer any questions about him and talk through your form. Afraid I don't know any more about him.

Chase is the new boy on the block and still feeling his way. I hope he is homed before our next photoshoot, but if not I'll be looking forward to meeting him again when he has had a chance to unpack his bags and settle into kennels life.

An update from one of our kennel volunteers:

"Had the pleasure of the lovely Chase yesterday when he came home with me for the day...
He quickly settled and fitted in so easily...almost like your favourite bit of furniture! Calm and serene, then a burst of play time and a chew on a bone, then back to chilling on the sofa cuddled up next to you. He loved the company but wasn't needy, content on a nice warm sofa with a few short walks round the garden for a sniff. He really is the perfect companion and would fit in to anyone's family...he charmed us all from my 10 year old niece to my 76 year old mother in law!!
Love him to bits xxx




p.s. He liked being brushed and having a tummy rub too xx"
