i think im in the bad books now as ive just chucked his favourite (popped) football for him to chase and my aim was a bit off and its gone next door and they arent in - he keeps gazing mournfully at the fence!

Im at the stage now, where im alright if I talk to him through the door as im on the toilet or in the bath. If I stop talking he starts to whine

Go on jump over and get his ball back. You can do it before they come home and catch you

I think a bit of fence jumping is in order!! Way to go with Woody, but don't hold your breath
