extremely angry!

As some of you know I was meant to get Murphy. A lab/Rhodesian For tia. Well now I'm not! Meant to have him on the 2nd but she had to take them to the vets. She said Friday (9th) I could have him. Didn't happen...then it was saturday/Sunday for definite I'd have him. Didn't happen. Then she said I'll be down Monday (today) at 10:30-11am. I got up extra early to spring clean and get his bed and toys ready etc. She didn't turn up. I've been texting and ringing all day up until now. No reply. I'm extremely angry and upset. I had waited 6 nearly 7 weeks for little Murphy. Really am upset. So now back to square one with looking for a pup for my tia.

Sounds fishy to me. I had that happen once with a pup and only to find out they had all gotten giardia and the owner/breeder was just hoping they would get better and wouldn't have to tell me. Hopefully nothing like that here but sounds fishy for sure!

How awful

Nope heard nothing at all since 7pm yesterday. Absolutely gutted! I feel such an idiot now getting bits ready etc.

Defo something very fishy, I would be absolutely livid as you must be. Do you not know where they live?

Big hugs. That is a terrible feeling! I'd give them a ring and tell them what I thought of their lack of communication and ask what the real issue is.

all sounds very sus to me,if their being like this may be best to look else where for a pup,could be a genuine reason why thou,still no excuse for keeping you waiting around.

That must be so frustrating for you, I feel for you after getting your hopes up like that only to have them dashed, not good. Did you pay a deposit for the puppy ?

Very annoying.... I would be livid too. If there was a problem they should just say instead of keeping you hanging on not knowing whats going on.

well you never know there may be a really good explanation or there may not , either way is fate ...........

Still not heard and I got blocked on Facebook by her as she sent pictures through that. No didn't put deposit down. Thank god. Everytime he was suppose to come there was a different excuse. She either sold him for more? Or something like that. I am gutted. Went out and brought a bed food, food bowls toys, collar and lead ready. So wasn't cheap! At least I can keep it for when I get another.

Sounds morbid, but I'm thinking this infection he had was more serious than the breeder let on. She's most likely a puppy farmer. Just seems extremely suspicious that the purchase was delayed due to a respiratory and urine infection, which is serious in a puppy, and now she's suddenly blocked all contact. I have a feeling the poor pups might not have made it.

Have one of my pups they are due beginning of October! What a time waster that woman was why do people say things they never intend to do? I would be angry aswell And poor Tia was probably looking forward to having a friend to play with.

I am so sorry for you, and the poor puppies, some people! Sure you will find perfect mate for Tia soon and as Dave said its probably fate xx

I would move on. Might you consider adopting from a rescue?

Sounds very fishy! Even if she does eventually respond/get back to you I would move on and find another pup! I'm sorry this happened I'm sure you must have been crushed!

How horrible is that, she could of at least had the decency to explain the situation no matter what it was  So sorry this happened, im sure you will find another pup for Tia very soon xx

Yes I'm going to go rescue one, a pup if poss coz of having a small child and obviously a dog I'd like to bring the pup up around them etc will definitely find the right one soon thanks for all the messages x
