Growth and development
Hello again
As Roxy is my first ever Staffy I was just wondering if any of you wonderful forumites could tell me ..... what sort of age do Staffy pups start to "fill out"
She is currently 17wks old and was watching her playing tonight and just wondered how much taller/bigger she will get, not that it matters to me coz I Love her to bits no matter what, but was just curious

Re: Growth and development
The rule I use which has always worked for me (roughly, every puppy is different). First year and a half they will grow up (height), after this they will fill out until they reach 2 and a half - 3 years. The head will widen between 2 and 3 years, most staffords are fully grown and matured by 3 years although some males continue to get a bit thicker in the chest, shoulders and head after this.

Re: Growth and development
..but they never stop being clowns!
Jethro is still one at nearly 12....like he was just on the lounge with me.. did a big smelly pop off...leapt of the lounge and ran off..then came back a few minutes later!!
When people come over he gets his toys and runs around throwing them in the air like a puppy....
They are real show offs!!
