How about eating a smaller meal for tea and bigger meal for breakfast, that way your body has longer to burn it off through the day, sometimes mixing things up helps Smile

Best changes you can do is change all drinks to water and to eat more meals a day but smaller portions. The water keeps the body at the same temp and the constant supply of small amounts of food tells puts your body into a mind set that food will continue in a steady supply which stops the body needing to store fat.

Once you have lost the weight you needed to loose it then becomes more difficult....stick at it you just won't see the results so quickly Smile

yea i had this problem when i used to bike ride 20 miles everyday i got stuck on 16 grrr

Add something new to your exercise routine - use a new group of muscles, change between fast and slow ... mix it up some! Your body gets used to what you do (no matter how much you do!) and no longer drops the weight off like it used to.

Having fasting days can also help week to week and taking something like a fat mataboliser with carnitine might also help (especially if you have lost a decent amount of weight, it helps to clear your liver).

I'd be careful with fasting, but changing up exercise definitely helps. Also, the more muscle you build, the longer your metabolism will burn.

Should be more specific! Yes you should be careful when fasting, and I am not suggesting week long fasts or anything like that ...

Fasts = 24 hours, 2 or 3 times a month with lots of water plus green tea and/or green vegetable juices if you need/want ... add honey to your drinks if you feel you need it.

Also, don't forget that if you're exercising as well as dieting, you'll be building muscle and muscle weighs more than fat. So it might look as though you've gone static, but you may not have.

when i was riding 20 miles a day i was only eating chicken and salnds and i got stuck on 16 couldn't get below

Maybe you were eating too much? It's no good just eating healthier - you need to reduce portions a bit as well, plus you need to exercise.

Sure your not bulking the muscle? It could be that your body is holding steady weight by loosing fat but bulking. What excersises have you been doing recently?
