Injured marleys proud moment

Post by kirsty-marley-1 Fri Aug 02 2013, 14:31

Hiya all i thought id share this with you all after the other day,

We trained marley from little to be kind and caring.

And when we went camping last year a woman told me her dolmation in terrifed of staffs as it was attacked by one the week before i offerd to go.get marley and see if her dog can start to trust again and she was very happy about soing that so inslowly walked marley over to her dog and i think he sence the dog was sveared as it was cry but once i sat on the floor with both marley an her dog they started to play and the dolmation was then happy.

Yesterday when a adult walkd in he is normally pouncing all over them and yesterday i walked in with a two year old and marley sat and rolled over so the baby could stroke him and get use to him.. From then on his head was stuck in the air as he was so proud he was able to keep calm

I am very proud of my dog he is such a loving dog.. But at the moment there is alot of staffy X gettin seized by the police and i think marley is a staffy X because hes longer leged than other staffs so this is making me a bit sceared i dont know what id do without him!

Hopefully nothing happens to him

I have also stopped lettin people stroking him as two kids by the shop told a lad who was stroking marley "he will rip your arm off" so now no one is aloud to stroke him unless its people i know well because some just try and wind him up which angers me
because during play he nips lightly (havnt got him out of that yet) so i dont want him doing that to others

Aww you should be very proud!  It's a great feeling when all the hard work and training pays off! We are also working with Gwen on jumping up on people! She is starting to learn but then her excitement takes over and she forgets her manners!
