wee update
Hey all hope everyones doing good and the dogs are all good too :-)
So week 2 at training went well, and weve got 'paw' nearly mastered lol. The only issue still is walking without jumping up for treat or wanting to play with the others!
In the house the mouthing has been alot better and wen she starts its alot easier to get her to stop, again though this applies to us but wen the kids are up she wants their toes :-( so frustrating but i have (and my mum) noticed tht my niece is always annoying her subtly wen shes sleeping and does things like shuffle her feet (its making me crazy cos my sister just sits and im boiling over with annoyance.
But anyway shes doing much better but still a long long way to go :-)

Re: wee update
Well done - great news!
With your neice, I'd risk annoying your sister and ask her to talk to her daughter! Any pup will react if they're teased & sooner or later she may nip hard & all hell will break loose! When my last dog was young, my neice used to tease him (not intending to be mean - she just didn't understand), and I just sat down with her one day and had a nice chat about how dogs don't understand the way we do, and how they have to be left in peace when they sleep etc, etc. It worked, I'm pleased to say!
With her jumping up for the treat, try walking her on one side of you, and keep the treats in a pocket on the other side. Don't always use a treat - every so often, just give her praise if she's good. That way she'll get less reliant on them.
